A two-person roastery selling to cafés wanted bags that could also live on a kitchen shelf.
Every blend had a different label from a different printer, and nothing looked like it came from the same place.
We kept the bag cream and matte, gave each roast a rosewood band with its origin, and designed cups and stamps to match.
Retail sales passed café orders within a year, and three new cafés asked to stock the beans.
