A neighbourhood bakery opening its second shop wanted packaging people would keep long after the cake was gone.
Bags and boxes came from a catalogue, and the brand lived mostly on a chalkboard by the till.
We kept the palette to cream paper and rosewood ribbon, art directed a small shoot in the kitchen and designed boxes that tie rather than tape.
The ribbon became the brand. Customers post the boxes, and the second shop opened with a queue around the corner.
